Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

We are seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse to join our team in a fast-paced urgent care setting. The ideal candidate will have both adult and pediatric emergency room experience, possess strong telemetry skills, and be proficient in rhythm identification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a dynamic urgent care environment.
• Assess patients and prioritize treatment plans effectively.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Utilize telemetry skills to monitor patient vitals.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Float to different units as needed, based on skillset and management discretion.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of adult and pediatric ER nursing experience.
• Current NY nursing license.
• Certifications: BLS, PALS, NIH required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting and Omnicell medication system.
• Required to demonstrate proficiency in rhythm identification with >80% accuracy in rhythm identification and 100% accuracy in identifying critical rhythms.
• Minimal request for time off (RTO): 7 days or less prior to the start date.

Additional Information:

• Guaranteed 32-36 hours per week with day shifts, typically from 07:00 to 19:30 or 09:00 to 21:30.
• Flu vaccine is required by 11/1, with exemptions accepted for medical or religious reasons if provided two weeks prior to the start date.
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the location.
