Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical/Tele

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specializing in Medical Surgical and Telemetry to join our team. Our nursing staff plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care across various health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Care for observation patients and individuals with diverse respiratory conditions or related medical issues.
• Manage general medical surgical diagnoses and provide support for palliative, end-of-life, and hospice patients.
• Offer specialized care for psychiatric observation and diabetes management, including new diabetics and those with complications.
• Monitor and assist surgical patients and those in surgical observation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Shifts and Schedules

• 3×12-hour shifts – Days (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage may be required.
• Float may be necessary across various locations within the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers are welcome.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Must pass an EKG exam during the onboarding process.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system preferred.
• Previous charge RN experience is preferred but not mandatory.
