CT & X-Ray Technologist

Job Description

As a CT & X-Ray Technologist, you will provide a variety of technical procedures utilizing ionizing radiation. This role requires independent judgment and technical expertise to produce high-quality radiographic images for diagnosis and treatment purposes.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray examinations, ensuring optimal technical factors for each procedure.
• Evaluate radiographs for proper exposure and patient positioning.
• Schedule exams and provide thorough instructions to patients regarding preparations for procedures.
• Organize and set up rooms for radiographic procedures efficiently.

Accountability

The Imaging/Radiologic Technologist will report directly to the Imaging Services Manager.

• Capable of frequent position changes, including stooping, standing, and bending, as part of patient care responsibilities.
• Possess the visual and auditory acuity necessary to interact effectively with patients and receive feedback.

Shift Information

Shift hours are from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. Holiday coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a radiologic technologist role.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
• ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT(R)).
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT(CT)) is mandatory.
