Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate the ability to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate procedures in the Interventional Radiology unit.
• Administer conscious sedation and monitor patients throughout procedures.
• Manage invasive lines including Intracranial Pressure (ICP) monitoring and Pulmonary Artery Lines.
• Provide telemetry and ventilator management as required.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in call rotations approximately every 3rd to 4th weekend and one weeknight per week as needed.
• May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care or interventional radiology setting.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BCLS are required.
• Proficient in Epic (Excellian) charting.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, teaching hospital environment.

Work Schedule

This position requires working 5 days a week within 8-hour shifts from 08:00 to 17:00. Block scheduling is not available.

Additional Information

All scrub colors will be provided. Parking arrangements include validation for the first day; subsequent costs apply for continuing use of the parking facilities. Night shift parking is complimentary, while day and evening shifts entail nominal fees.
