Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health

Position Information

The role of the Home Health Registered Nurse involves providing nursing care to patients in their homes. This position requires a focus on patient management, assessment, and delivering high-quality care in a home setting.

Job Summary

• Position Type: Full-time
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Shift: Days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Weekend Requirements: Monday through Friday, no weekends
• Call Requirements: None

Responsibilities

The Home Health RN will be responsible for:

• Managing a caseload of patients in their homes, generally 5-6 patients daily.
• Conducting thorough patient assessments and developing care plans.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Providing wound care, as necessary.
• Utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically OASIS.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, with prior home care experience required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly EPIC and OASIS.
• Wound care experience preferred.

Mileage Reimbursement

Mileage for travel between patient homes will be reimbursed at the current IRS standard rate.
