Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit. The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to manage complex cardiac and vascular cases, including Electrophysiology (EP), structural heart procedures (TAVR), and hybrid procedures (EVAR).

Shift Details

• Shift Length: 10 hours
• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday (6:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• On-call requirements: 7-10 days in a 5-week cycle

Unit Information

• 242-bed Level II Trauma facility with 2 labs
• Average cases per day: 6-8
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Epic
• Imaging System: GE Maclab

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)

Key Responsibilities

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for:

• Assisting in complex cardiac and vascular procedures
• Participating in patient care and monitoring
• Collaborating with medical staff and providing technical support
• Maintaining equipment and ensuring a sterile environment
