Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN)

Position Overview

This position is responsible for providing critical nursing care within the cardiovascular operating room. The CVOR RN will work a night shift schedule, supporting overnight staffing on a 24/7 basis, including holidays and weekends. Flexibility is required for this role due to varying needs in scheduling.

Shift Details

• 3×12 hour shifts: 18:30 – 07:00
• No block scheduling; candidates must be flexible with shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac, vascular, and transplant care.
• At least 1 year of experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting.
• 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma facility.
• Experience in scrubbing required.
• Certifications: BLS certification is required.

Required Skills

• General operating room experience.
• Proficient in cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant procedures.

Charting System

Experience with EPIC charting system is required.

Parking options include annual and monthly permits with specific access details as follows:

• WMC Permit: Available monthly with 24/7 access.
• WB Permit: Annual permit for weekends and holidays with shuttle service.
• CXS Permit: Annual permit for weekends and holidays with 24/7 access.

Prorated refunds may be available for unused future months on annual permits, with cancellation required by 6:30 p.m. on the last business day of the month to avoid additional charges.
