Ultrasound Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing ultrasound procedures across various specialties.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations including abdomen, breast, OB/GYN, and vascular studies.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of images obtained during procedures.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, specifically GE Logic E9 and E10 units.
• Collaborate effectively with medical staff to support patient care.
• Participate in the on-call schedule as required.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ARDMS certification is a must.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ultrasound technology.
• NIH Stroke Certification required prior to start date.
• Commitment to complete an additional 8 hours of Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

Schedule

This position will involve working from 1:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with rotating on-call responsibilities one night per week and every eighth weekend. Training will be provided from November 30, covering Monday to Thursday with 10-hour shifts. Regular shifts will commence on December 7.

Additional Opportunities
