ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing critical care for patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as well as supporting patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the ICU and PCU settings.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
• Participate in unit management and operational improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in ICU nursing is required; PCU experience is a plus.
• Ability to float between units as needed.
• Willingness to work weekends based on unit needs.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Work Schedule

This position is for night shifts, requiring a commitment to working 4×12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.

Patient Ratios

• 1:2 patient ratio in the ICU.
• 1:3 patient ratio in the PCU.
