ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our critical care team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care in a dynamic environment while working with a variety of critical care tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in a 4-bed ICU unit.
• Monitor telemetry, administer drips, and manage patients on BiPAP, art lines, and ventilators.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Perform regular assessments and interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license.
• ACLS certification required.
• Experience in critical care nursing preferred.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule

• Night shift – 3×12 hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00).
• Every other weekend availability required.
• Block schedules are necessary for this role.

Patient Care Ratios

The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1-2.

Special Requirements

This position requires the ability to adapt to a critical access hospital environment with specific focus on telemetry monitoring and advanced interventions for critically ill patients.
