Rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights, with requirements for weekends, holidays, and on-call duties based on unit needs.

Job Overview

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a highly specialized, nationally recognized center, providing advanced care for sick or premature newborns. As a Level IV NICU, we offer the highest level of support, including expert treatment for respiratory failure and heart disease.

Job Duties

• Provide exceptional nursing care to critically ill newborns.
• Monitor and manage complex therapies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate families regarding their infants’ conditions and care plans.
• Participate in continuing education and staff development activities.

Job Requirements

• Valid RN License in New York.
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience.
• Experience in telemetry preferred.

Certifications

• NRP 8th Edition Certification required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
