NICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced NICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care to our smallest patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to neonates in the NICU.
• Monitor patient status and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate families on the care of their infants and prepare them for discharge.
• Prepare necessary documentation and maintain accurate patient records.

Schedule

Shifts available are either 3×12 or 4×12 hours, primarily on nights. Weekend shifts may be required, and scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be accommodated. All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in neonatal intensive care.
• Required certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are preferred.
• Experience in couplet care is a plus, and first-time travelers are welcome to apply.
