Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg (Neuro, Ortho, Peds)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in a Med/Surg unit specializing in Neuro, Ortho, and Pediatrics. This is a fantastic opportunity for RNs who thrive in a collaborative environment, providing quality care to a diverse patient population.

Position Information:

• Department: Med/Surg (Neuro/Ortho/Peds)
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: Nights
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: 3 weekends every 6 weeks
• Call Requirements: None

Unit Profile:

• Number of Beds: 24
• Patient Ratios: 1:6
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Currently using Paragon, transitioning to Cerner
• Patient Population: All ages over 28 days
• Common Diagnoses: Trauma, Post-operative Ortho/Neuro, General Pediatric Care

Qualifications:

• Required Education: ADN
• Years of Experience: 2+ years in Med/Surg nursing
• Required Certifications: BLS; PALS preferred
• Float Requirements: May be required to float to other inpatient units as needed
• Must Have Skills: Experience with adult patients
• Preferred Skills: Experience with pediatric patients
