Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Tele

Position Overview

Join a high-volume post-surgical unit focused on providing exceptional care to patients in the urology and GYN surgical populations. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced environment.

Scheduling Options

• 3×12 or 4×12 hour shifts available
• Weekend and holiday shifts required per contract
• Floating to other units may be necessary

Patient Ratios

The typical patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:7. Candidates must be comfortable with this ratio before application.

Minimum Requirements

• A minimum of two years of recent relevant nursing experience
• Previous travel experience is preferred
• Active Virginia or Compact RN license at the time of submission
• Proficiency in Epic electronic health record system is mandatory

Required Certifications

• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
