Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

The Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care on the medical-surgical telemetry unit. This position involves working night shifts, specifically three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care to individuals on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatments.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required.
• Current and valid nursing license in Ohio or a compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.

Additional Information

This position does not utilize block scheduling and is primarily focused on delivering dedicated nursing care during night shifts. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and resilient professional with a strong commitment to patient care and teamwork.
