Registered Nurse – MS/Tele

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical/Telemetry team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing patients on a telemetry unit and demonstrate proficiency in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias. The role requires a focus on delivering high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and manage a designated patient load on the Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit.
• Monitor telemetry data and interpret dysrhythmias accurately.
• Administer blood products and manage feeding tubes with precision.
• Perform phlebotomy and other necessary bedside procedures.
• Respond to Rapid Response/Code team calls and demonstrate readiness in emergency situations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in unit initiatives aimed at improving patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Medical Surgical/PCU unit.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are required.
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:4 and 1:3 in an MS/Tele environment.
• Proficient in telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia management.
• Ability and willingness to float to different units as needed.
• Available to work weekend shifts every other weekend.

Shift Information

This position is for a day shift, requiring three 12-hour shifts per week.
