CNA/PCT

Position Information

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CNA/PCT to join our Med Surg team. The successful candidate will be required to work three 12-hour shifts per week with additional weekend hours as needed by the unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care tasks under the supervision of nursing staff.
• Complete orientation and clinical training effectively.
• Ensure familiarity with procedures involved in patient tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
• Preferred: Certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
• Completion of at least two semesters of an approved nursing program, or graduation from a nursing program awaiting state board examination.
