Job Responsibilities

The CNA/PCT will provide essential patient care and support, demonstrating familiarity with procedures related to patient tasks. Completion of orientation prior to beginning clinical responsibilities on the nursing unit is required. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assisting patients with daily activities and personal care tasks.
• Monitoring patient conditions and reporting updates to the nursing staff.
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients.

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Experience

• Understanding of procedures involved in patient tasks.
• Ability to work independently after completing orientation.

Preferred Skillset/Experience

• Experience as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
• A nursing student with a certification letter from a faculty member verifying the completion of the first two semesters of an accredited nursing program.
• Graduates of nursing programs awaiting state board examinations.
