Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient cardiology settings and will be responsible for performing various nuclear medicine studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct nuclear medicine studies including rest/stress and amyloid (PYP) scans.
• Start and maintain Peripheral IVs.
• Store, handle, and dispose of radioactive materials in compliance with safety regulations.
• Apply professional knowledge to ensure high-quality patient care in cardiology diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT N or CNMT.
• Experience with adult and nuclear cardiology required.
• Preferred skills include outpatient clinic experience and ACLS certification.

Work Details

• Ratios: 1:4; Average Daily Census: 10-12 patients.
• Schedule: 40 hours per week, with 10-hour shifts from 06:00 to 16:30.
• No call or float requirements; weekends are not mandatory.

Patient Information

The focus will be on adult and geriatric patients, primarily handling conditions such as:

• Coronary Artery Disease
• Pre-operative clearance
• Chest Pain
• Shortness of Breath

Additional Information

• In-clinic orientation is required and consists of 40 hours.
• Scrubs are not provided; royal blue is the preferred color.
• Final start date will be confirmed prior to the designated week, and availability for adjustments is mandatory.
