Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit. This position requires a strong background in medical-surgical telemetry nursing and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical telemetry setting.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and recovery strategies.
• Respond to patient needs and emergencies with prompt and appropriate actions.

Shift & Schedule

This position is for the night shift, 4 shifts per week, each 12 hours in length.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing.
• Active and unrestricted nursing license in Ohio or a compact state.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
