Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients.

Schedule

This position will require a commitment of 3 shifts per week, totaling 36 hours. The scheduled shifts are night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care for patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias in critically ill patients.
• Provide care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction and failure.
• Administer continuous intravenous sedation as required.
• Provide care to ventilated patients and manage ventilator settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are mandatory.
• Strong skills in the management of patients with complex medical needs in an intensive care setting.

Float Requirement

The candidate must be willing to float to different units within the organization as needed.
