Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

An opportunity is available for an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic surgical team. This role will involve providing high-quality nursing care in the operating room setting.

Schedule

• 5×8 hours (Monday to Friday) with call requirements
• Consideration for 3×12 hour shifts with rotating days off and call

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care in various surgical specialties, including General, Orthopedic, Neurology, Trauma, and ENT.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal care delivery during procedures.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the surgical environment, including instrumentation and sterile fields.
• Monitor patients’ progress and recovery post-surgery, ensuring concerns are addressed promptly.
• Document patient care and observations accurately in accordance with facility protocols.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous experience in the Operating Room is required, with exposure to General, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Trauma, and ENT procedures.
• Pediatric experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team collaboration.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
