Respiratory Therapist (RT)

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in neonatal and pediatric care, particularly in NICU and PICU settings. You will perform a variety of essential procedures and assessments, ensuring high-quality respiratory care for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and educate patients and families about respiratory health.
• Conduct various diagnostic tests, including EKGs, EEGs, Pulmonary Function Tests, Blood Gases, and assist with Bronchoscopy procedures.
• Provide support and care specifically for pediatric and neonatal patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.

Shifts

Shifts will include a rotation of day and night schedules, with a total of 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Current respiratory therapy licensure (RT LIC) and certifications including NRP, ACLS, and BLS.
• Experience in NICU or PICU is preferred.
• Proficient in performing EKGs, EEGs, and other respiratory assessments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for providing exceptional care to pediatric and neonatal patients.
