Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Tele

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry settings. The ideal candidate will be able to manage patient care in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating skills in telemetry monitoring and patient assessment. This position requires a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with a focus on telemetry monitoring.
• Assess and interpret cardiac rhythms; manage dysrhythmias according to established protocols.
• Administer medications and cardiac drips (e.g., nitroglycerin, Cardizem, amiodarone, Nicardipine) as per physician orders.
• Implement O2 protocols and perform non-invasive airway management.
• Participate in rapid response team activations as needed.
• Maintain computerized documentation and adhere to isolation precautions and PPE standards.
• Float to other units as required to meet facility needs.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience within the last 3 years in MS/Tele/PCU, with neurotrauma stepdown experience and NIHHS certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA.
• Ability to handle patient ratios of 1:4-6 with CNA support.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring is essential.
• Travel nursing experience is preferred.

Work Schedule

• Shift: Night shifts, 12 hours (19:00 – 07:30), with options for 36 or 48 hours per week.
• Every other weekend commitment required.
• RTO restrictions apply; requests for time off over 2 weeks must be approved.
