ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position requires in-depth clinical knowledge and the ability to provide exceptional patient care in an Fast-paced Intensive Care Unit environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, vital signs, and treatment effectiveness.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic charting systems.
• Float between like units as necessary to meet facility needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU required.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• EKG exam must be passed; no exceptions.
• New graduate nurses are not preferred for this position.
• Ability to work every other weekend is required.
• Must comply with local travel distance requirements.
• Must have the flexibility to accommodate block scheduling as needed.

Special Requirements

• Previous staff must be away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler.
• Only two contracts allowed: after the second, a 6-month absence is required to return.
