CT Technologist

Job Overview

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures. This position requires expertise in handling advanced imaging equipment and a strong understanding of radiographic techniques to ensure accurate diagnostics for patient care.

Shift Information

This position is for the night shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures according to established protocols and safety standards.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging sessions.
• Maintain and operate CT equipment, including conducting routine checks and troubleshooting as necessary.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate imaging results.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with RT(R)(CT) or RT(R) credentials is required.
• Advanced certification in the modality of CT is required in specific regions and preferred in others.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
