Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing care during various cardiac procedures, including both inpatient and outpatient settings. The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent pre and post-procedural care for patients in the Cath lab and EP lab.
• Collaborate with cardiovascular technologists to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patient vitals throughout procedures.
• Utilize critical care skills and knowledge in cardiac interventions.
• Participate in scheduling and coordinating patient care to optimize workflow.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding procedures and recovery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).
• Moderate sedation training and dysrhythmia expertise.
• Telemetry experience.
• Must have experience with TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman procedures.
• Demonstrated expertise in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, cardiac interventions, and vascular procedures.
• Experience in mechanical circulatory support (ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, LVAD).
• Background in Structural Heart experience with relevant procedures including PFO, ASD, VSD, and valvuloplasty.
• Experience in critical care or cardiac settings is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cardiovascular certification or RCES preferred.
• Familiarity with device and ablation procedures and equipment.
• Experience in EP Lab is a plus.
