Cath Lab Tech – RCIS

Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech, specializing in Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS). This role is integral to our cardiac catheterization lab, where you will assist in various capacities such as scrub, monitor, and circulating roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the scrub, monitor, and circulating roles within the cardiac catheterization department.
• Work collaboratively with the medical staff to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing vascular and interventional procedures.
• Participate in procedure preparation, assisting with patient positioning and equipment setup.
• Ensure safety and compliance with all regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, RCIS, and ARRT (R). If ARRT (R) is not held, a CO Fluoro license must be obtained.
• Experience in STEMI and cardiovascular laboratory techniques.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
• Ability to float within the department and, if required, to Zone 3 in extreme circumstances.

Schedule

• Four 10-hour shifts per week.
• Weeknight call requirements: 1-2 per week.
• Weekend call requirements: 2 per 6-week pay cycle.
• Holiday call requirements apply.
• Call response time is within 30 minutes.
