Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room

Shift Information

Position requires working three 12-hour shifts with holiday coverage as needed. Please note that block scheduling requests cannot be accommodated.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team, where you’ll have the opportunity to enhance your skills and contribute to an environment focused on excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Provide explanations and instructions to patients and their responsible persons.
• Utilize clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient conditions.
• Foster a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict using professional communication skills.
• Meet responsibilities related to patient care as outlined in Core Measures.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain professional development.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a relevant nursing role.

Additional Notes

This position may require participation in on-call duties as necessary. All candidates must be prepared to provide coverage during holidays as required.
