ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Details

12-Hour Day Shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week.

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of experience is required. Previous community hospital experience is essential.

Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for adult patients in the ICU setting.
• Participate in weekend coverage, with responsibilities every other weekend.
• Float to Medical/Surgical Telemetry and Telemetry units as required, adhering to scope of practice.

Skills Required

• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Experience with pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring.
• Central line care and management.
• Starting intravenous (IV) lines.
• Care and management of ventilated patients, including ventilator management.

Documentation and Communication

• Familiarity with Accudose medication system.
• Proficient in Cerner documentation system.
• Utilize SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) for effective communication.
