Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our team. This position offers an elevated seasonal winter rate with the standard rates returning on a specified date. The ideal candidate will have a track record of experience in Labor and Delivery and be passionate about providing exceptional care to patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting care effectively in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
• Participate in educational programs and staff meetings as required.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and infection control standards.
• Float between like units as necessary to meet patient care needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN.
• California state nursing license required.
• LA Fire Card preferred.
• Ability to work day shifts, including 3×12-hour shifts.
• RTO must be included at the time of submission.

Work Environment

This position is located in an acute care hospital recognized as a Magnet facility, with a focus on patient-centered care. Free parking is available for all staff.

Additional Information

• Weekends are not required for this position.
• Pending licenses will not be accepted.
• Guaranteed hours are available, with the facility able to call off once per two-week pay period.
