Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Job Description

An opportunity is available for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This position will involve working in the Emergency Department, where critical decision-making and prioritization are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective patient treatment.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records and patient documentation using Epic charting system.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of one year of experience in an emergency room setting.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC.
• Must be able to float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Availability for weekend shifts is required.

Work Schedule

This position requires working a variable shift of three 12-hour days or nights. Guaranteed hours are a minimum of 60 hours per two weeks.

Housing Information

Housing accommodations will be provided for travelers during their assignment, typically in one-bedroom apartments. Pets are not allowed, and the housing units will need to be cleaned upon departure to avoid additional charges. Move-in is permitted no earlier than 72 hours before the contract begins and no longer than 24 hours after it ends.

Additional Information

The facility operates as a Level IV Trauma center with a total of 46 acute care beds and 22 long-term care beds. Free parking is available for all staff members. Professional attire is acceptable, with no specific dress code.
