Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned groups of patients according to established care standards and the nursing process. The successful candidate will supervise and direct the activities of various levels of nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment.

Job Responsibilities

• Collect relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
• Develop a care plan that prescribes interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Implement the care plan, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health in a safe environment.
• Evaluate progress toward attaining outcomes.
• Identify outcomes for the patient or the patient’s situation.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Provide educational opportunities for patients, family members, and team members.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred
• Experience in an acute care facility – Preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice – Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor – Required
• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification – Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification – Required
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification – Required
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification – Required
