Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the emergency department.
• Assess patient conditions and develop effective treatment plans.
• Administer medications and interventions as required.
• Monitor patient progress and document observations accurately.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Shift Details

• 12-hour night shifts (19:00 – 07:00)
• Rotating weekends required, with every other weekend scheduled.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an emergency room setting.
• Valid certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, PALS, and NIH.
• Must be willing to float between multiple locations as needed.
• Ability to accommodate block scheduling is preferred.
• Local candidates will not be accepted; a 50-mile radius rule is in effect.

Special Policies

• Travelers must be absent for at least 1 year to return as a traveler.
• Contractual limit of 2 contracts, with only one extension permitted; a 6-month absence is required before reapplying.

Patient Care Ratios

The typical patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4, ensuring quality care and adequate attention to each patient.
