Interventional Radiology Technologist

Position Details

This position is for an Interventional Radiology Technologist working a 5×8 schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The daily caseload will be four cases per technologist.

On-Call and Weekend Requirements

• On-call availability is required with rotation among two other technologists.
• Weekend shifts are necessary every third weekend.

Floating Requirements

This role does not require floating to other units or facilities.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology is required.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Experience in general Interventional Radiology is mandatory.
• Experience in Neuro Interventional Radiology is preferred.

Certifications

• Current BLS certification is required.
• ARRT (R) certification is mandatory.
• SCQRSA certification is required.

Miscellaneous Information

• Radiation badges must be provided by the agency; the facility does not supply them.
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position.
• All requested time off (RTO) must be included at submission; approval is contingent on facility needs.
• The facility reserves the right to call off one shift every two weeks.

Hurricane Season Notice

Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. It is advisable to avoid confirming new or extended assignments during this period, with peak activity typically occurring in August and September.
