Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care in multiple settings within the region, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and a supportive healthcare environment.

Shift Information

• Every other weekend required
• All travelers must work two out of the three paired holidays:
• 11/27 and 11/28
• 12/24 and 12/25
• 12/31 and 1/1
• Night shift: 4×12 hours (19:00 – 07:30)

Qualifications

• Current RRT certification from an accredited program
• Valid IN license required
• ACLS and BCLS certifications required
• A minimum of 18 months recent experience in an ICU setting
• Education must be accredited through CoARC and regionally accredited through CHEA

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in various healthcare settings, including floating between Methodist, University, Fishers, and Morgan locations.
• Monitor and assess patients’ respiratory status and treatment efficacy.
• Administer prescribed respiratory medications and therapies.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
