Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. This position involves providing respiratory care to patients in a variety of settings. The successful candidate will be comfortable working every other weekend and will participate in two of the three paired holiday shifts during the specified holiday season.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as directed.
• Monitor and assess patients’ respiratory status and performance.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care and equipment usage.
• Maintain accurate records of patient assessments and treatments.

Qualifications:

• Valid State of Indiana Respiratory Therapy license (RRT).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy with at least 18 months recent experience in an ICU setting.
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, and RRT. Education must be accredited through CoARC and regionally accredited through CHEA.
• Ability to float between multiple locations as needed.

Schedule:

• Night shift: 4×12 Hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:30.
• Every other weekend requirement.
• Must work two out of the three paired holidays:
  • 11/27 and 11/28
  • 12/24 and 12/25
  • 12/31 and 1/1
