Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care in a rehabilitation setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage patient care in various units as needed.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, ensuring timely interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic charting system.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule

This position requires night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week. Weekend availability is necessary as needed, with a minimum requirement of every other weekend.

Additional Information

• Will float between different units as necessary.
• Patient-to-nurse ratios are expected to be between 1:6-8.
• No on-call requirements.
• Block schedules are not utilized.
• Parks are available at no cost for staff.
