Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN)

We have an exciting opportunity for an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse to work in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art environment, providing specialized care to adult inpatients and outpatients undergoing various interventional radiology procedures. These procedures include biopsies, embolizations, ablations, angiography, drain placements, and other image-guided interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Provide post-procedure recovery care, including in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and extended stay settings (23-hour monitoring).
• Participate as an essential member of the critical embolization response team for trauma cases.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of recent interventional radiology experience.
• Valid New York State (NYS) RN License.

Successful candidates will be required to wear hospital-issued and laundered scrub pants and tops, as well as follow additional infection prevention measures in procedural areas when necessary.
