Ultrasound Tech – General

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist with experience in general ultrasound and vascular imaging to join our dynamic team. This position involves working in a small hospital-based outpatient department, which includes an attached minor emergency department.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including vascular studies.
• Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of ultrasound findings.
• Maintain equipment, perform quality control checks, and ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in training and mentoring new staff members as needed.
• Participate in rotational call schedules as required, including holidays.

Schedule

This position requires availability Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. The role includes rotational on-call duties during evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Certification and experience in General Ultrasound, with vascular experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
