Medical Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team specializing in oncology, specifically focused on breast care. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing high-quality patient care and support within a clinical setting.

Shift

This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers in clinical procedures related to breast care and oncology.
• Perform patient intake and obtain medical histories.
• Conduct preliminary assessments and prepare patients for examinations.
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed.
• Manage and maintain patient records in accordance with confidentiality guidelines.
• Educate patients about their conditions and treatment options.
• Collaborate with health care team members to ensure patient satisfaction and quality care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant is required.
• Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), and Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
• Open to first-time applicants with the required certifications.
• Local candidates are welcome, with travelers considered local if residing within a 50-mile radius.
