ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse for a Float Pool position to join our healthcare team. This role requires flexibility to meet the needs of various ICU floors and lower acuity units, including telemetry.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients across multiple ICU units.
• Be prepared to float between different settings according to staffing needs.
• Work required shifts, including weekends and holidays, as necessary.
• Maintain clear communication with the healthcare team and ensure continuity of care.
• Utilize Epic for charting and patient documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience required.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BCLS, and NIH.
• Must be willing to work a minimum of every other weekend, with the possibility of exceeding this requirement based on unit needs.
• Must be open to working on 3 of 5 major holidays.
• No pending licenses will be accepted.
• Requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application.

Position Details

• Type: Float Pool with potential to float to different ICU units.
• Ratios: 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Shift: Night shifts, 3×12-hour schedule (19:00 – 07:30).
• Free parking available on-site.
