Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Float Pool team. This position requires flexibility and a strong commitment to patient care, providing nursing support in various medical surgical and telemetry settings.

Essential Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in diverse medical surgical and telemetry units.
• Assess patient health status, develop nursing diagnoses, and implement care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Experience in medical surgical and telemetry nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

Schedule

This position requires three 12-hour night shifts per week. Weekend and holiday availability is required as part of the float pool commitment.
