Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Tele Float

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Float Pool. This dynamic role involves providing high-quality nursing care across multiple units, particularly in the Medical Surgical and Telemetry specialties.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care to diverse patient populations in various medical-surgical units.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes and response to treatments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families about medical conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license.
• Experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information

This position requires working three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and may involve floating between various medical surgical units. Weekend and holiday shifts are required on a rotating basis. There are no block schedules available for this position.
