Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical/Telemetry

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical/Telemetry team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical and surgical care to both inpatient and outpatient populations within a collaborative healthcare environment.

Schedule Requirements

• Shift: 3×12 Hour Nights (19:00 – 07:30)
• Weekend availability as needed
• Float to other Medical Surgical and Rehabilitation units as required
• Holiday requirement: Must work 2 of the following 3 major holidays:
  • Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday
  • Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
  • New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is required

Role Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Delivering high-quality nursing care to adult patients with various medical and surgical diagnoses.
• Caring for telemetry patients and swing bed patients.
• Providing support and care for COVID patients, as necessary.
• Adhering to a tobacco and fragrance-free environment.

Additional Information

The Medical Surgical department operates 24/7 and serves a diverse population of adult inpatients and outpatients. The primary patient demographics include those requiring medical, surgical, and telemetry care.

Note: Candidate will undergo a clinical review to assess fit, followed by a final interview with the management team.
