Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.

Position Information

• Role: RN
• Specialty: Emergency Medicine
• Shift: 12 PM – 12 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48
• Weekend Requirements: 2 weekends per month
• Call Requirements: None
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
• Years of Experience: 2+ years preferred

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 25
• Patient Ratios: 4:1
• EHR: Paragon
• Patient Population: All age groups

Essential Functions

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency patients.
• Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement effective care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Education: Valid nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Required Skills: Strong assessment and critical thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and capability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred Experience: Experience in an emergency department setting is advantageous.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in a clinical environment with exposure to potential hazards typical of emergency care.
• This position may require standing for long periods and assisting with physical tasks related to patient care.
