Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing Facility team. The successful candidates will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents, supporting their daily activities and enhancing their overall well-being.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Support residents with mobility and physical activities.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health status to the nursing staff.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Document all care provided and follow established care plans.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.

Shift Details

• Available Shifts: Day (6 AM – 2:30 PM) and Evening (2 PM – 10:30 PM)
• Shift Length: 8 and 12-hour shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNA in an LTC/SNF setting.
• Current BLS Certification required.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 44
• Patient Ratio: 7-8 residents per CNA
• Common Diagnoses: Dementia, Alzheimer’s, diabetes, congestive heart failure (CHF)
• EMR System: Matrix

Additional Notes

• Rotating weekend shifts are required.
• Holidays will be observed as part of the schedule.
• Orientation will be provided on location.
