Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) with extensive experience in circulating and assisting with orthopedic, spine, and neurosurgical procedures. This position requires a dedicated and knowledgeable professional who can perform tasks independently and is comfortable in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Circulate for orthopedic, spine, and neurosurgery cases, ensuring patient safety and quality care.
• Assist in complex neurosurgical, orthopedic, and spinal procedures when needed.
• Provide support during DiVinci robotic cases as required.
• Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure efficient operations.
• Participate in rotating shifts including weekends and holidays, with variable start times based on department needs.
• Be available for mandatory overtime and adhere to staff rotation protocols.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and competence at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience as an OR RN or combined OR experience.
• Proven experience in circulating for orthopedic, spine, and neuro surgeries; ability to perform independently is essential.
• Scrub experience is highly preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with DiVinci robotic surgical systems is an asset.

Additional Information

• Time off requests must be kept to a minimum during your assignment and must be pre-approved.
• Personnel may be floated or reassigned to different departments or units within 30 miles of the original assignment as necessary.
• A Covid medical/religious exemption will be accepted.
