Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This role is essential in providing high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia. The ideal candidate will have experience in a surgical recovery setting and demonstrate excellent critical thinking skills.

Shift Details

This position offers a day shift schedule, specifically 4×10-hour shifts from 08:00 AM to 06:30 PM. Flexibility with start times and varied shifts is necessary, as well as availability for call duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition during the recovery period.
• Administer medications and provide post-operative care as directed.
• Assess and document patient conditions accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and home instructions.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Previous experience in PACU or critical care nursing preferred.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
