Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This role involves providing exceptional care to patients as they recover from anesthesia. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients’ post-operative conditions.
• Administer medications and provide treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
• Document patient care and ensure compliance with nursing standards.
• Respond to patient needs and changes in condition promptly.

Shifts and Scheduling

This position offers varied start times and shifts, with potential options for 10-hour shifts. Candidates will also be considered for 5×8-hour or 4×10-hour schedules, allowing for flexibility based on personal and unit needs.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license.
• Previous experience in a PACU setting preferred.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
